Friend needed a hand – supplied a picture of a skull she wanted on there and then said design me something, so heres what I did.

Fleshed out the font for the Departed illustration to a full set.

Did a couple of typography work ups for the cover and headline story page of the next Curl Magazine – think they’re going to go with the top one, but we’ll just have to wait’n'see – my preference would be for the bottom, but perhaps it looses a bit of readability especially on the cover…

M.I.T.E (Maori into Tertiary Education) is a combined initiative between Te Wananga o Aotearoa, Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec to do exactly what the name implies. I was asked to design the logo bringing together the three institutes and an uplifting feel.

Extended typeface after doing the wallpaper for Curl Magazine of Laura Enever. Intended to be hacked up in illustrator.

So based on the piece of typography I did for Curl Magazine wallpaper of Laura Enever I’ve fleshed out the font to a full uppercase set. Might offer it up soon when I’m more happy with it.

Playing round with Avant-Garde.

So part of today was used to develop the ‘Health and Safety’ brand for the department of the same name within Te Wananga o Aotearoa. I used a cross with a maori twist not mad happy with the colours but the client loves them and its a huge step in the right direction from what they got me to do initially – which involved Yellow, Green and Blue! mmmm

Heres a typography treatment I did for Curl Magazines article for “Silvana Lima – the little borboletta”, ended up on the cover as well which I was pretty stoked with.
